Have questions?
Check out the answers to frequently asked questions below. If you need an answer that does not appear below, use the Help & Support link at the bottom of the page or give us a call at 734-260-2473.
Q. Where do I begin my course?
A. Once you have paid for your course(s), you will be directed to a page where you will choose your user name and password. Once you have completed the registration process, it is very simple.

Log in and click GO. Your course or list of courses will appear. Choose the course and begin the lessons by clicking on the first link on the left sidebar. This leads to the introductory material. Be sure to read this carefully. The last two pages in this unit are printable text and study guides that contain the course materials in one place (this is nice for review or if you want to read the course offine and then come back to take the quizzes). Then continue with Unit One and progress through the course. Even if you choose to print out and read the printable text version, you must visit every page in the course before the quizzes and exam will count. The system registers each page visit and gives you credit once you have viewed each page.

Q. I skipped a couple of pages because I knew the material. Now the system keeps going back to these pages. What gives?

A. You may not skip pages in the course. The system will take you back to review any pages not already viewed. It's best to give these a look even though you may already know the material as it may come up on the quiz or final exam. You can tell which pages the system has verified that you have visited by a little checkmark next to the section in the left sidebar. If you don't see a checkmark, click on that section to get credit.

Q. How long will this course take me?

A. The course should take on average, 50-60 minutes for one hour of CPE credit. Some learners take more time, some less. The course is designed so that you may progress at your own pace.

Q. Do I need to take the course in one 50-minute sitting?

A. No, you may log in and complete the course in several sittings. Since the course should only take an hour, it is probably easiest to complete it in one sitting but it is your choice.

Q. How many questions are in the review quizzes?

A. There are five multiple choice and/or true-false questions based on the Unit lessons. The system will not let you proceed until the Unit quiz has been completed at 100% but you can take the quizzes as many times as you need to.

Q. Can I print out the lessons as a study guide?

A. You don't need to. In the Introductory Materials you will find a printable text file of all Unit lessons and Unit lesson quiz questions. Both documents should help you as you progress through the course and provide a study guide for the final exam. Feel free to print that out.

Q. How many questions are in the final exam?

A. There are ten multiple choice questions that are randomly generated from a pool of exam questions. If the exam needs to be repeated, it is likely that you will get a different set of exam questions.

Q. How many times may I access the final exam?

A. One time only!

Q. What score do I need to pass the final exam?

A. There are ten questions and you need to get at least seven of them correct in order to pass.

Q. What if I do not pass the final exam?

A. You will need to re-register for the course and pay for it again.

Q. How do I receive official notification that I have completed the course and received CPE credit?

A. Upon successful completion of the final exam, your certificate of completion will appear on your screen. Print it out for your records. A link to the certificate will be available for one week after you complete the course. Click into the course homeroom again to find the link if you want to print it at a later time.

Q. How do I get state CPE credit?

A. CPE credit is granted automatically upon successful completion of the course. This means that you will need to receive 100% on all three Unit quizzes and 70% on the final exam. A printable certificate of completion will appear on your screen once you have passed the final exam. Keep this for your files. CE Professionals provides course registration and pass information to the MACPA and they officially document your credit.

Q. What if I forget my user name and password?

A. Email us at support@cepro.ucompass.com and we can forward that information to you. To avoid having to do this, please write your access information down and save it. If you take future courses, you can retain your same access information but you will have to register for additional courses.

Q. If I have signed up for more than one course, how do I access other courses?

A. Each time you log in, you'll see a listing of all courses for which you have signed up. As you complete them, they will be marked accordingly. If you want to come back at a later time to access your courses, bookmark the login URL, http://cepro.coursehost.com.

Q. How do I contact the Help Desk?

A. There is a [Help and Support] link in each course that you may access to report trouble. Upon receipt of a help request, we will get back to you as quickly as we can. Again, dsnyder@cpacoursesonline.com is the easiest way to contact us. In an emergency, you can call 734-260-2473 .

Q. If I want to take more courses but I did not sign up for more than one, do I get the quantity discount?

A. No, the discount only applies when you register for more than one course at the same time.

Q. I forgot to put in my discount code. What do I do?

A. The code is integrated with the payment module. You need to input that information in order to get the discount. Be sure you enter the discount codes.
